On the map, you will find my own personal descriptions of each location, along with the address, phone numbers, business hours, etc., but I have also included the descriptions here for convenience.

CENTENNIAL BEACH
Centennial Beach in downtown Barrie is one of my most favourite spots. It is a lively location with lots to see, certainly a great spot if you're looking for some writing inspiration. People watching is the best there.

WILLIAM'S FRESH CAFÉ
William's Café in Barrie's South end is such a cozy spot and is sure to cure any writer's block you may be experiencing. A great place to sit back and enjoy a delicious latte or baked good while you write (and they have wifi!). It's perfect if you're looking for a location with minimal distractions but not dead silence.

BARRIE PAINSWICK LIBRARY
Although libraries are a classic writing spot, this one happens to be my favourite. With tons of resources, this bright and airy building is perfect to satisfy all writers' needs.

STARBUCKS - MAPLEVIEW
Although Starbucks is also a typical location, I had to include this branch specifically. It is a beautifully redesigned shop that is conveniently located in the heart of Barrie. Sit back and enjoy a Frappuccino in their beautiful dining area. This location also has lots of outlets if you're working from a computer.

MINET'S POINT PARK
I absolutely love this spot! It's generally very quiet, which is awesome if you're looking for minimal distractions. Guaranteed to be relaxed and "in the zone" while you sit near the water listening to the waves crash.

FRIDAY HARBOUR RESORT
I can't say enough about this spot! There are SO many places you can go in just this one location. Starbucks, waterfront tables, restaurants, beaches, boating docks, and so much more. Guaranteed to have a location for every writer!
